I, Hannah, am a true foodie at heart. My passion for food has been a part of me from an early age. As a child, I was always eager to explore different cuisines and experiment with various flavours. This led me to start my culinary journey!
My pursuit of culinary excellence led me to work in Michelin starred kitchen brigades and I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the best chefs and tutors in the industry. These opportunities not only taught me about cooking techniques and the importance of quality ingredients but also instilled in me the value of hard work and dedication.
My thirst for knowledge and my love for food led me to pursue a first-class honors degree in Culinary Arts Management from Birmingham University. This program helped me to expand my knowledge of the culinary industry, gain valuable business skills, and provided me with a solid foundation to launch my small business.
In 2020, I took a leap of faith and launched The Gorge Bakehouse, a venture that had been a dream of mine for years. Today, my passion for food continues to inspire me and I am committed to delivering the best quality products to my customers.
My journey has been filled with challenges and triumphs, but I am grateful for every step of it. For me, food isn't just a passion; it's a way of life.
